Miyazaki

Hayao Miyazaki is a Japanese film director. He did my favorite animated movies: Totoro, Ponyo, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Kiki's delivery service and a lot of other beautiful movies. 
I love animation films, I love Pixar, I love Disney, but I think Miyazaki's movies have a special kind of magic. The movies talk about the power of nature, the respect to the people, the forest, the spirit behind everything on earth, and how good intentions make a better world.
Other thing about Miyazaki's movies are the characters. They are all special creatures, in the picture you can see on the left the big Totoro, he is the lovely  king of the forest, each creature on it, respect him, and love him, included his human friends: Mei and Satsuki. Princess Mononoke is a human who lives with wolves, she is determined to defend the forest from the other human who want to destroy it. I think   James Cameron's Avatar was inspired by Princess Mononoke, is a very similar story and keep the sprit of knowing the importance of being conscious about our earth and the space of the others. 
If you have not seen Miyazaki's Movies, I super recommend it.
 They are beautiful in every possible way.

Picture with my friends :)

This picture was taken with the timer of my camera. I was studying Visual Arts in The University of Chile, the faculty is located in Juan Gómez Millas campus. I like this picture because it reflexes how happy we were being friends and classmates, going to buy cofee (I have one in my hand), laughing and drawing, painting, shooting the lovely areas in the campus. When I took the picture, we were walking back to our composition class, we saw the benches without people and we decided to take  a picture of ourselves with the coffee and the cold day.
I have a lot of pictures of this year, but I prefer this because of the girls on it, the colors and because it was taken on autumn, my favorite season.
I love JGM, the university life you have there is unique, there are a lot of students sharing food and studying, dogs, books sellers, you can  take a nap or have a lunch on the grass whenever you want. 

The Routine

I love Friends, it`s my favorite TV show ever!

I want to show you one of my favorite scenes when Monica and Ross dance in " Dick Clarck's New Years Rockin Eve". Monica and Ross love the show, so they decide to make "The Routine" to catch the attention of the cameras. They made the choreography when they was on middle school.

This episode is so funny and make me laugh like a crazy. I love the brotherhood between Ross and Monica, they are so geek and losers sometimes. The routine is PERFECT, I wanted to dance it from the first time I saw the episode. Probably I will dance it on my wedding day or someday boring with my boyfriend or my best friend.

Macbook + iPod

I really enjoy  technology, but what I love the most is apple family, specially my favourite duet: Macbook + iPod. 
My home is where the computer is,so now I don't have a home because my Macbook was stolen :( 
I love this team because they are perfectly synchronized to work together. When you plug in the iPod to your macbook,it recognizes it, synchronizes the music with your iTunes, you can choose what albums you want in your iPod, then iPhoto recognize the pictures you have and put them in the computer, organize it by date or event, or any classification you want.
Macbook is a very lovely and power personal computer, it works fast and has a beautiful interface, it doesn't have any viruses or things that make it slower.It is simple to use, because most applications were created by apple, so they are compatible and you just drag things from an application to an other. Every work is easier with a Macbook.
And the iPod Touch is another little  wonder, it allows me to carry all my music and photos with me, send e-mails, share anything on the internet, check my social networks, navigate, read with iBooks app and play a lot of games! 
I think I like this team because it allows the organization of everything you have. I a very organized person, so I need gadgets like these, because I make my own schedules, post it notes (virtual ones), reminders, I can keep my music arranged by year, author, albums and see the album art in both gadgets. I carry my iPod everywhere and I feel naked without it. And I miss my macbook a lot, but I am saving the money to buy a new one.Ok, just half of it, the difference will be Mom's gift. 

Cat Power

Chan Marshall, also known as Cat Power is an American singer/songwriter. She is sometimes lovely and girly, but she is also hard and loud. She plays the guitar and the Piano. I don't know what kind of music she plays,  I think is a mixture of Blues, Folk, Country and a lot of Rock&Roll.
 I listen to her music since 2003, when I was 13, because of my best friend, who told me about Chan when we was sharing music in her house. When I listen to her for the first time, I thought: "She has a great voice and I love these guitars", then I downloaded all her records and expend a lot of time reading about her music.
Her first Album was released in 1995 and it's called "Dear Sir", and the last one was Jukebox in 2008. My favorites are "You Are Free"(2003) and "The Greatest" (2006). It's funny, but 'The Greatest' isn't a 'Greatest hits' is actually the name of the album.
I Love Cat Power - even the name is cool- Chan is the kind of girl who loves what she do, and this girl doesn't know how to make a bad album, so I'm in love. 
In 2011 she was in Lollapalooza, but I hate it, so I went to a small show at 'Centro Cultural Amanda' and she was perfect,beautiful (with her lovely bangs)and loud as always. I really enjoyed the show, but the theater was full of 'famous hipsters' invited by a Brand, so they was drinking, laughing and making social life when I was trying to listen to her music, but I really enjoyed the drinks too!

I am...

My Name is Natalia, I was born in Santiago on the Winter of 1990, but sometimes I feel like "the southest girl alive" because I love all my summers in Cobquecura, with my cousins and the lot of friends I have there; our fireplace, all the tea times with my Grandparents, the people who worked  in the house, the days at the beach (and nights too!).

Here, I studied in Greenland School from first to twelve grade, there I made some friends and participate in sports like running, cheerleading, Artistic gymnastics, etc.

I live with Mom & Dad, and with my lovely pets:

Gata, Noel (like Noel Gallagher), Emilia Black and Bruno.

They are all my family and I love them so much, they make me laugh and make my nights warmer. 

I Have a boyfriend, Santiago. I think we are like the Moldy Peaches's song: "Part time lover and full time friend" We have a lot of fun, have long conversations about life, go to the movies and get drunk (sometimes).

In my free time I like petting my cats and dogs, playing with them, watching my favorites TV shows like 'Friends','Weeds', 'Glee' and Movies. I love listening to music, I  think is the best thing ever, and I'm a little geek sometimes about music, because I like to discover new bands, records, EPs and any information about the bands I love.

I love cupcakes, tea, cats, polaroids, books, nuts and (of course) Dinosaurs!
